would a e46 hardtop fit inside a x5
hey guys, i finally found a hardtop for e46 m3 cabrio, however i gotta drive about 3 hours each way to pick it up. Was planning to just drive up my m3 and mount it and drive it back, however looking at the forecast looks like it might snow. I would like to drive my x5 up, however does anyone know if the hardtop would fit inside a x5?

Find the size of the hardtop. Then check this post out.

+1. Not only get the measurements, but take into account the odd angles and curves. Measure the largest dimensions. Sometimes odd angles hang up items from fitting properly. Good Luck!

Have you considered renting a pickup truck? Could be dicey if your M3 doesn't have snow tires with the weather we've been getting.
