2006 phone question

Just picked up a new to me 2006 and trying to figure out the button that is on the stereo that says phone??????????? What the hell does it do and how do ya make it do it????????

Just because you have that button does not mean that you have the UFL or TCU needed for Bluetooth ability. Look at the Bluetooth forum for more info.

Once u activate ur bluetooth on ur phone go in your X and u connect with your bmw12345 (12345 that will be ur last 5 of ur vin) then you should have a passcode provided by bmw.. put that in ur phone and voila ur connected!

that pic of the phone button on the radio acts as a send/end. dial the # and press that phone icon and it dials out. ends the call when u press it again.

Mine also on a card in the owners handbook.You should also have the code stamped on the actual bluetooth module on the left side beneath the cd changer in the trunk.
