gear shift knob

just saw my loose gear shift knob turn left and right all the way to 50 deg from where it was... is this ok? how can i fix this?

where do i apply the product though? do i need to take the know off first?

You need to pull the knob off first (make sure don't hit your self in the face when you pull the knob off)then apply the liquid nail glue to the inside the knob near by the bottom ring of the knob and let it dry for 1-2 hours.

lol, i actually read something about "hitting your own face" that here... lol anyway,

i don't have to unscrew anything beforehand? i won't break or damage anything in the process of pulling the knob?
