THANKS! + new door carrier = permanent fix?
First of all, as a new X5 owner I want to say Thanks! for this site. So far since I have bought this X5 in June of this year I have: -repaired 3! window regulators -replaced one window regulator where the repair did not hold ![]() -tightend the 3 bolts holding the windshield wiper motor to fix inop windsheild wiper -I will replace the drivers door carrier this weekend, it broke last week when the temp went below freezing overnight ![]() All of the above I've done with info found on this site using the search, so you've turned me into just a lurker... I don't even need to ask questions ![]() So besides the thank you, is the concensis that the new door carrier will fix the freezing problem? Or should I do the 'rubber glove + grease' fix or spray with antifreeze? I will spray the other doors for sure. Thanks again, and you guys sure have some great looking X5's!
