shaking when braking

I have 4.4 with Dolce 20's that has a steering wheel shaking problem while braking from 40+ mph. I have replaced the thrust arms, the control arms along with all new bushings, had the wheels checked for run out, had the tires checked for radial run out, and checked the tie rod ends for any exccessive play and they are tight. Has anyone else experianced this problem. Any Idea is helpful Thanks

I've had the problem. and I also ran 20's on my X. Sounds like you checked alot of the possible areas. So its probably warped rotors is my guess...

Thats what I am thinking but what makes me think that the rotors are not the prolem is there is no pulsing in the pedal, just barly a vibration. When I brake the steering wheel shakes about 1/8 to 1/4" left to right

When the issue is so slight.... you can not assume. I would verify the rotors to be true. And most importantly, that the wheels are balanced properly especially when it comes to these larger wheels. I had to take my car to a different discount tire to get my wheels right (20's).
Due to the vibration of the unbalanced wheel, my front rotors got warped. After replacement of the rotors everything was fine till a week later a slight vibration was back on braking. Got a little worse on the 3rd week. After rebalancing on the forth week, vibration went away. The technicians abillity to properly balance the wheel is a huge factor.
