Anyone know how to remove main dome light frame??

I want to replace my grey dome light frame (one in the center of the roof) with a black one - it is already purchased, I just haven't figured out how to remove the old one. Can this be done without taking down the headliner??

I removed mine a few years ago when I retrofitted the alarm and had to replace the light frame.
On the retrofit instructions it doesnt explain how to remove it!However, from what I can remember, the light frame is just clipped in,so you have to evenly pull it down from one end until it unclips.

I have tried pulling on it, but it seems to be held up there with more than clips.

Its a bit late here now to take pics(22.30)....I will remove it tomorrow and will show you with pics how to do it.
I just had a quick look and just unclipped the light ,which is now hanging down...I now have access to one phillips screw which I have removed but the dome is still there....
Tomorrow ,I will remove it..

Also, do a search on 'leak' and 'center console' or something like that... I seem to remember a few posts with instructions on how to remove this.

Just to clarify, I am not talking about just the light (I have removed this before), but I am asking about the whole surround.

Faz, nice find but I'm thinking Dawg referred to the "grey dome light frame (one in the center of the roof)" as the one in the middle centre (over the rear seat) and not the front centre light frame, hmmm.
I just did a couple of quick searches but nothing available.
Surely somebody has removed the middle roof light fitting before.

The dome light frame consists of 2 parts.the bottom part simply clips onto the top part.
Once you remove the light, you will see a philips screw on the rear.Remove this and then just press the sides on the inside, inwards and down and you will separate the 2 parts. You dont need to apply too much force and they will separate quite easily ,so the risk of breaking the tabs is minimal.

The first picture shows the lights tabs and you need to gentle pry the lamp with small screwdriver on a cloth and force it down...
Hope you get it sorted.
