Radio/Head-Unit Not Working

Today, as soon as I turned on my car, the radio unit turned on as usual and then it went blank. I have pressed all buttons and there is no response (No navigation/radio). The red light that indicates if the head unit is on is off (I tried turning it on with no success), and all the buttons are still illuminated. Does anybody know what is causing this issue? Based on reading other threads, it seems that it can be fuses, a weak navigation unit or amp connection. I will try the above mentioned trouble shooting ideas, but I would appreciate if anyone sheds light on this issue if they know of it or have had it before.

Thanks.
