For me up in Canada, the weathertechs would be $450 with tax. I need the huge lip to stop the runoff. My kids and wife also spend time at a farm, so it's always clobbered with mud. I have the nice BMW rubber mats, but they are worn thin and water runs off. I'm trying to dry the carpets too from the sunroof leak. It's all a frame of reference

Have you all checked with your local BMW dealerships parts dept yet? They sell the same all weather liners (they look just like the Weather Tech liners pictures with the BMW logo in the earlier posts).

You can look them up in the part database to get their 11 digit BMW number...and either check with your local BMW dealership...or shop using the BMW 11 digit nbr on the internet. I did a quick search using the BMW part nbr for the front all weather liners and found several eBay sellers with them listed for under $100 (again, front liners in black: BMW All Weather Rubber Floor Liners E53 x5 Black Front | eBay ). I didn't search for any of the other colors they come in (beige & gray).

The BMW all weather liners are #1 & #2 in the diagram (and link) below:

RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.4i All Weather Floor Liners

(I don't think the illustration looks anything like the real floor liners...similar to the "waffle" rubber mats...they don't look anything like their diagram illustration either)

If I had known that BMW offered all weather floor liners when I purchased my e53 rubber mats back in 2012...I probably would have went with the liners instead. But I'm not knocking the rubber floor mats...I like them a lot and they work well and I like that they are pliable and don't get hard...plus they stay in place with the floor anchors that come with them.

It was $175 front/rear and $79 cargo. I have the waffle ones, but they don't cover the hump in the back and water runs off under cornering. These lock in water/mud nicely.

Only wish they had extended the passenger foot area higher, as the stock BMW mats do.

Looks good, are they the same ones as these? http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E53-X5-...ats/ES2153844/

Was that price with shipping up to Canada?

Funny. My buddy works for WeatherTech. He runs the design and prototype shop. He probably designed the mat in the first place! I'll let him know about the hump in the back!

The weathertech has the section in the middle but the stock mats don't.

These are same as on ecs site. Mine included shipping to Buffalo. I didn't see them on ecs site but like those guys too. Getting another batch of parts soon.
