4.4 Differential Capacities
I'm looking to change the oil on my 01. 4.4 front and rear diffs soon. There are some threads regarding this and that about the diffs but none that I can find that have the answer to my questions. 1. What are the capacities of the front and rear diffs? Before anyone flames me about me being on a thread that had the answer in I feel it necessary to point out there were two different answers given to that question. So I am still none the wiser. ![]() 2. Other than measuring what I am putting IN the diff how do I ensure I have the correct amount in? Thanks guys

You could use a VIN decoder .
Here's what I've got: Transfer box (0,46 l), final drive (front axle) (0,7 l) Rear Axle Oil 1.00 Liter
