'04 x5 Adaptive lights

Hi,
I have a question and I hope the answer is simple. My car have adaptive lights. When I turn the weel to right they are moving from center few degrees but when I move to left from straight position they are no moving at all. Is this how they should work? I was under impresion they move left when you turn left and right for right turns...

Thanks,
Al

if they turned left when the vehicle is stationary it would blind oncoming drivers. they will only turn left when the vehicle is moving. they call this function anti-dazzle

Acutally they turns both left and right when the car is moving, but the degree it turns to right is much less than turning to right (for LHD cars).
