Fan Noise in Cabin ?
Sitting at idle, just noticed a " fan " noise ??. Is very faint, and seems to cycle low speed / hi speed. I guess it could also be a pump of some sort? Any ideas ??? thx. |

Could it be the fuel pump....?
In case, it would be kinda whining, and should be louder on the right side in the backseat..... |

Me too. I wish I knew where I could spray some lub, so it will go away. It's been there for years.

I have the same issue. Spoke to my mechanic and he said it could be the blower motor or a resistor starting to go.

I had brought mine in under warranty and they told me it was 'normal'.

Could it be the air pump for the self leveling suspension?

It's the Control Unit Box fan, #4 on the diagram. It moderates the temperature in the box by blowing cabin air though it from the driver's footwell area.

Question answered !..thanks rayxi. So.....the fan noise is " normal ", and just something my hearing has become sensitive to, or is it indicative of a future problem ?
