remove rear light cover w/a pics

Alright so I have a bulb out and I can't seem to get the plastic cover off. I'm attaching a picture of what I'm talking about, its in the rear on both sides I don't know what its called maybe a reading light

Anyway I have tried prying the cover off but its on pretty good and I don't want to break the plastic or the switch. Whats the secret to getting it off?

Sorry about the shitty picture but my camera wont focus anymore, time for a new camera i guess

Use a flat head screw driver to get it out. I forget which side its on (if its on the side where the button is or the other side) but theres a little area where there is a cut away to put a flat head screw driver in. Ease it out by applying pressure down and the whole assembly will come out. It isnt difficult to take out just gently wiggle it out and use a flat head screw driver. Good luck. It drops straight down when you remove it.
