Dieselheads interested in fitting a larger Intercooler to their X5 3.0D should contact www.allardturbosport.co.uk.They have decades of experience and they even manufacture they own aluminium products.I have dealt with them for over 15 years and they are great honest guys.I would go further and say they are the best in their trade.
Extra cooling into your cylinders is always welcomed,but a larger intercooler not only does this but together with a good reprogrammed ECU ,will get you more power (normally without the excessive smoke of just a repro!) reliably ,as the extra heat generated by the increase in power will be outweighed by the extra cooling..
