LHD/RHD Folding Mirror swap.

Hiya,

This is probably a long shot, but would anyone know if I can replace a faulty n/s fold/mem mirror on my LHD car with one from a RHD car? On etk they have different part numbers but not sure of the differences (I suppose because the car has memory seats and they dip on reverse so where the driver sits is relevant ).

I know it sounds daft, but there's one on ebay UK and none on EU sites. Maybe I could just transplant the motor? (my mirror doesn't open any more).

Thanks if anyone could advise on whether the motors are interchangable. I was thinking of swapping the left and right motors on my mirrors to prove this but from the looks of it they are positioned differently.

Cheers guys, Kev.
