Just don't fell right to toss them in trash and end up in landfill. |

town scrap yard / town dump should collect metal. even if it gets tossed in the regular trash it wont go to waste. it should be screened before its dumped and it will get grabbed by a magnet and so on. and if your town doesn't do any sort of sorting then when they dig it up years down the road hopefully it will be recycled.

some places will buy your rotors for up to $3 a rotor, batteries for $4-5

killcrap: do you have any names of such places? It is unlikely that you and I live in the same city/state, but I am just looking for an example so I can search for that type of place in my local city. For example if you tell me that NTB does that in your town, then I can ask my local NTB store, etc... :-)
