Whistle different color headlights????

i have a 02 3.0. my problem is that my right front headlight is pink! the left is fine, clear as crystal but the right changed color 2 days ago. do i need a new ballast? or bulb? or both. if so can someone please post how to chane the ballast and bulb assembley. i saw the sticker and it said that it has 25,000 volts! so before i become the next modern day benjamin franklin i figured i would ask the experts here, btw they are xenon headlights.

Im only guessing but it sounds like the gas is dying in the bulb.. I`m no expert tho.. If it were me, I`d change both bulbs or even try the working bulb in the other headlight to confirm.

I have two different color lights on my 330.. The driver's side is very blue, but the passenger's side is white.

happened to me. the bulb burned out the next day. all you have to do is change the bulb. I ordered mine directly from the stealer so it put a big dent in the wallet ($200 ish), but i know they sell some in the bavarian magazine.

mix man--

how many miles? do you drive with your lights on at all times, or just at night.

just trying to get an idea what bulb life was like...

i think you need to remove the headlight assembly to replace the main bulb.

i haven't had to do it, and am 2000 miles from my X5 to look.

but you simply unlug the bulb from its harness, and it will be fine. as long as the headlights are off, no 25000 volts!
