Did you know you can change speed of rear wiper?

I have had this vehicle since '04 and just realized today that you can change the delay between wipes of the rear wiper. I turned on the rear wiper and then "accidentally" turned it off and back on again with a few seconds and noticed that it was wiping more frequently than it usually does. Knowing all of the electrical "quirks" these vehicles have, I turned the wiper back off, waited a few minutes, then turned it back on and it returned to what I thought was "normal". However I was able to replicate what happened before by the quick "on-off-on" process.

Not sure if this was mentioned in the "Things you didn't know about the X" thread (or whatever it is called), but figured I would mention it.

I know, it's probably in the manual!!

before bmw had intermittant wipers, this timer was used on all front wiper systems.
