Facelifted black X5

Completed my facelift project recently. Got the idea to do that from xoutpost. So here some before and after photos. Thanks to BostonbluX5 for advice and Zulu for headlight wiring diagram. Hope you do not mind winter setup. In spring the car gets gunmetal 168's.

You spend that much of $$$ and didn't want to go with 4.8is looks?

Searched for 4,8 front bumper but could not find one. I got all the parts from one donor car at very reasonable price and finally took the easier way. I feel bad today not getting the right bumper. But I will deifinitely fit 4,8 rear spoiler. Probably exhaust tips as well.

Seen you already done this way... You can go with the 4.6is add on kit .

diesel has a exhaust system similar to the 5 & 7 series E3X (not diesel but are similar in muffler design), in which the muffler is pointed down and this doesn't spew any diesel stuffs (cant find term)

I didnt say that diesel dont have nor come without a exhaust.

Sorry, X5-E53 3.0d Exhaust system is completely different from 5,7 series.
X5 has after the turbo,kat and then only dual pipes going to the rear mufflers with the exit pipes coming from the back of the mufflers,turning outwards and with tips pointing down.
On the E39 5 series for example,this has after after the turbo,2x kats,going to 2 middle silencers and then one single pipe to only one straight through design rear muffler with a tip pointing out.
