seatbelt question

hi everyone...my seatbelt adjuster(the plastic piece that slides up and down on the b pillar) is not smooth moving and i have to squeeze the 2 plastic pieces together with both hands to release the tension in order to move it..i dont think it should be that tight..it is worse on the passenger side..if my wife drives the x she wont have the strength to move it..i cant even squeeze the 2 pieces together with one hand(i am not a weak guy).is this normal or is something wrong..any opinions..it is a problem if my daughter is in the front seat because the adjuster has to be in the full down position..any opinions..thanks rob

I had the same problem with the driver side seatbelt. It wont retract like the one on the passenger side and the height cant be adjusted it seems stuck. I even heard a snap like a plastic piece broke when I was trying to adjust it. I will schedule for service at the dealer ASAP and Ill keep you posted
