Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport users...

For those who run on Bridgestone Dueler H/P sport tires, can you tell the rotational direction of the tire? I reinstalled my 20s two weeks ago, but I couldn't accurately determine which direction they rolled. Typically, tires have a direction arrow on the sidewall, but I couldn't find one. It feels like my wheels might be on backwards.

There is a slight directional label. The inner tread has a solid rubber pattern u can't mistake

Interesting...the tread pattern on Tire Rack pictures are different than mine. The tread pattern on my tires look like what Tire Rack shows for the H/P Sport runflats. I'm pretty sure mine aren't runflats.

there not but the twenties have the same pattern on the dueler sport H/P

Thanks, but they are already mounted to the wheel so I know what is inner and outer. I'm more concerned that the tread is moving in the right direction. It's important for road noise, water channeling and tire wear that it moves in correct direction.

not sure if this will help, but on my staggered 19s, there are 5 segments on the tire seperated by 4 channels. the second section from the middle of the car has curved channels in it that channels water from the inside wall towards the middle channel. or looking at it from the cars perspective... from the front middle of the car diagonally towards the outer rear. the channels in the second section are deeper than the ones in forth (outer) section. does that make any sense? now you got me wondering if they installed my tires correctly???

If the tyres are not marked with a directional arrow or some reasonably obvious notation then they are not unidirectional. However it is often recommended that you do not change the direction of rotation once you have started to use them, i.e. keep the wheels on the same side of the vehicle and do not swap left to right. If you did not mark the wheels when you took them off to winterise, then may you have a slight problem!

Tyres with an asymetric left to right tread pattern must be bi-directional. These tyres should be marked inner or outer, but since they have to run on either side of the vehicle they must be designed to roll in either direction when the outside pattern faces outwards...
