How do I remove angel eye bulb's ?

Hi, I just bought a pair of white angel eye bulb's of ebay.com,
but how the hell do I remove the old one from their socket ?
It looks pretty straight forward, just twist and pull them out,
the twisting part is no problem but there is no way in hell that I can pull them out.
Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with my bulbs ?
Please advise me before I kick my X5 in the nut's.

To remove the AE housing you should only need to turn it counter-clockwise until it stops then pull straight out. Maybe you're not twisting the housing far enough or try wiggling it while you pull. It shouldn't be that hard.

Curious, are you having problems with both sides or only one side?

I assume you're having problems with the AE housing and not trying to remove the actual bulb inside the housing. The bulb itself is removed by pushing down on it, twist the bulb, then pull out.

Doesn't show the stock but compares ebay ones to the Angel ibrights. See post #44.

No, not stock. First bought a cheap ebay LED pair. They were 6000K. Then decided to get the Angel Ibright LEDs and replaced the ebay ones with them. So, the comparison is of the ebay type vs Angelibright v3.0.

Stock is considerably more yellow in color.

EDIT: If you mean the actual AEs themselves - yes, those are stock. No need to change to ccfl and pretty hard (not worth it IMHO) to change out. Just change the bulb and bulb housing (see pics). 04+ X5s have AEs stock. The years before that did not have AEs stock. So those are the models that usually people will add AEs or replace the whole headlight assemblies with ones that have them installed already.

The problem was that one of the bulb turned to far so it got stuck again

Here are some pic's of the result:

After:
