Transmission, transfer case, or differential?

Ok this past friday I went for a drive to Lowes. When I was leaving I made a sharp left turn and it felt as if something was binding in the front end. It feels as if I'm driving a four wheel drive truck in four low on a paved road when you turn the wheel all the way. So saturday morning I took it in to the dealer. Well nothing yet they dont know what is wrong with it? Any idea's? It does it going forward and reverse and turning left or right?

Thanks

If all 4 tire pressures are good it is probably a problem with the transfer case. Hopefully you have some kind of coverage. To isolate the transfer case you could simply have them unplug it at the electric drive motor on the case, which defaults the case and takes the pressure off of the clutch pack in it.

Well talk to my service guy today they ordered a transfer case today for it,but they don't know if that is the issue. So it should arrive Monday then they will install it with there fingers crossed that that was the problem. If not then what?

Did you or they try unplugging the transfer case motor to see if it clears up the binding yet?

Yes they did and from the paperwork I got that is how they figured the problem out. I just got it back yesterday. Thanks for your help. The only bad thing that happened is they gave me a 330I as a loaner and that is one hell of a car. If I could afford it I would have one of those in my driveway
