Got OEM Hitch kit, what ball mount do you recommend?

I ordered up the OEM BMW hitch kit yesterday. Preparing to tow my E46 m3 track car this coming season. I plan to order up the prodigy brake controller from etrailer.com, and just wondering which ball mount setup you guys recommend. Someone mentioned needing a 4" drop. I want to make sure I get the right one the first time. I will be using an open trailer, loaded up with an e46 m3 weighing in at 3350lbs, so I will be close to max tow capacity.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

I bought the OEM Ball/Hitch. I needed a tow ball and the OEM was prob about $10 more than the one from pep boys. The only thing I noticed about it was that when attached in place the Ball is a few inches lower than the hitch. No clue if it makes a difference but hey, I figured it wasnt much more than an aftermarket one.

I'd go with the OEM ball and mount. A little more money, but it worked well for me. The 4" drop is important if you want to stay within the design specs for the OEM hitch. The ball and mount is also available from ECS, a board sponsor, according to this link.
