Lost in the rear wheel well.....

Well, I now have 18 inch style #99s with Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow Tires on my 2003 4.6... the rear wheels look a bit wimpy in the back... I am crestfallen. I've seen a few or you use spacers to correct the problem.. What size do you recommend and where do I buy them? Is there a draw back to using spacers? Also, what if I removed the rear flares and use the stock flares from a 4.4? Would this be feasible and or cheaper?
