4.8is tips, BMW dealer here did the retrofit , I think u have to cut the existing tips and weild the new ones

That's it for the front flares. There r no extensions on the front bumper, that's where it stops

there are some additional clips needed to attach the 4.8is front bumper to the fenders. which will reduce the gap.

Hey man the X looks great, congrats!

I'm considering the 4.8is front bumper for our 2006 3.0 as we just got hit at the airpport and will have the X in the body shop anyway.

SO...where is everyone getting the 4.8 front and back "bumper" pieces from? I assume OEM ones from a dealer with a good discount for board members but can anyone advise? How much are people paying for them before paint?

Also, how hard are these to install? I recall a while ago someone showing pics of their DIY install and it requirede all sorts of funky bracking while some adhesive dried. please advise and we'll be getting a new 3.0 front bumper thanks to some idiot at Newark Airport!
