Thermostat going? please help

hey guys, i noticed the temperature needle not staying directly center when i put the car and learning a bit to the left (engine cold side). the other day i started the car cold and it shook, check engine came out, i shut it off and on, ran fine.

I ran the code and it was the thermostat fault code.

How much are they to fix? is it a DIY?

Thanks ahead of time.

yes, its a DIY. I would also recommend the water pump and hoses as well (since your going to dump your coolant and dirty your hands). The thermostat is about $40 or so on line
