Reverse Camera?

I didnt want to thread jack someone elses. I am looking for some assistance kind folk...

I have an E53, 2005, 4.4, MKIV, with nav and tv and want to retrofit a camera to the rear.

Would THIS do the job as the input for the Nav system from the camera itself?

I can get the cameras for around US$30, if this unit works then i just have to figure how to wire it up to come on when in reverse.

Any help appreciated as I am a mechanical noob - but willing to learn.
