Changing to clear side marker!

I just got the clear side maker I ordered. Now, how do I replace the current one with the clear one? I don't want to scratch anything. That's why I'm asking for help as to what the best way is to go about it. Thanks in advance.

All you need to do is push the marker forward towards the front of the X......it will slide out. After that just unplug and replace with clear.....Phil

Push the light towards the front and the back will pop out. Takes 2 seconds.

Make sure you replace the amber bulb with a clear one when you do the lens replacement. Look at this thread to see further suggestions on this.

I modded my orange side bulbs by spraying a light coat of silver spray paint on them. They look silver but blink orange. It's a very low tech but effective mod. I did not do this with my front or rear lights though. The rears are Philips Silvervisions and the fronts are OEM clear bulbs.

I had it done last night. Took me not even 5 min. I ordered mine from bavarian auto....(www.bavauto.com). I ordered clear bulbs with the clear side markers. I'll post some pics later.
