bsw vs jl - sub

So I want to upgrade my current "sub" in my 2002 x5. I found BSW has a replacement sub 8 inch with enclosure and so JL has a 10 inch replacement w enclosure.

I heard ppl comment that they like the BSW set up but has anyone tried the JL 10 in sub setup?

Thanks!
Fabian

I am running the JL stealth sub and sounds pretty good. I really would prefer a 12" but if you want to keep the cargo space and factory look the 10" will do. I will say it hits harder than any 10" I have run. I am powering it by an Alpine PDX600.1 amp.

Where did you put your amp?

In the left side storage compartment. I removed the factory electronics as I am running an aftermarket head unit.

Have you considered keeping the stock enclosure and modifying it to fit a 10"? If you're mechanically inclined and can fiberglass, you could reuse it. If not, I'd be interested in buying it off of you.
