What You Pay - Price Check Thread

Hey guys, don't know if you remember from my last thread. Was told that this X5 4.8IS with only 30K miles was sold. Just got notified that the buyer backed out. For what reason, I don't know. Anyways, could you recommend a fair price for this car. Also what are people paying for their cars recently.

Okay I'll bite.
Paid $30.5 just over a year ago for '05 iS 48XXX mi. with 2 mos. of 4/50warr left. Thought I paid a little too much until I discovered it had CPO warranty. Sport seats, nav, sliding load floor, even has climate comfort windscreen. No rear side airbags, hitch or running boards. Looks like that one except for seats.

KBB retail is $41k for this 4.8is. You can try Galves.com.

He is asking $37k.

I will pay $34,500.

I am first owner for mine and paid MSRP less 1200 only.

Great link, really thinking of use that Galves website. I'm going to give this car another attempt on Saturday and go sit in. Perhaps I can bring it down to 31-33. I just know if I were to buy this X5 at anything higher, and if I were to sell it the next day on Craigslist, I just wouldn't get a simple call.
