Need 2.5" mid-range driver for dash location

I am running a kenwood 9140 DVD/ NAV unit. I am using the dash speakers as a center channel and would like to replace and upgrade this hard to find size driver.

I have tried BSW and they won't sell me just the 2.5" drivers.

Any ideas of who makes a replacement in this size.

Well that sucks - you used to be able to buy just the mids from them. Those are the only speakers I haven't replaced up front, but damned if I am going to buy the entire Stage I kit just to get those mids.

Cool thanks. Just a quick look and they have a lot of options. Just have to pull one out to check overall dimensions to find the right replacement.

As I recall this is what I used.

Needed to be cut to fit and sounds great. The original speakers were dry rotten. The stealer price for bmw speakers were $90 each, so this was a no brainer.
