Wanted: OEM Radio Display

Looking for a OEM Radio Display for my 2002 3.0i. I attempted the MID repair on the old one without luck. Attached is a picture of what I'm needing. Please send private message if you have anything available.

Best news I've heard all day I was extremely careful taking everything a part, so I'm certain nothing is broke. The problem I'm having is the DIY instructions I have says to clean the ribbon / contacts, realign, and tape; followed by reinstalling the pressure pad. I tried twice to align the board with the ribbon, but it's not working. Any insight you have would be great.

Here are some words of advice:
When you clean the connectors on the board, make sure they are completely golden, no tarnished black stuff left.

On the ribbon cable, use enough enough acetone to dissolve and clean the yellow surrounds. It will expose the connectors on the ribbon. So you'll see through the ribbon cable. Then with some tape, align the ribbon connectors back onto the board.

Aligning it takes some patience, but it helps if you tape the underside of the ribbon to the board, and you can just keep it there.
Whatever you do, don't modify the pressure clip in any way.

Many thanks xnsf. I'm literally banging my head against the wall. I looked at the board and found a good amount of tarnished black marks, so I cleaned everything again (about 9 Q-tips later). Once the board was done I moved to the ribbon to make sure everything was cleaned. What's a bit troublesome is the fact that when I look at the ribbon, the end is totally transparent with the exception of a tiny black dot at the end of the ribbon (the dots appear to be alignment dots). The question I now have is do you place the ribbon contacts on the center of the board contacts or place the ribbon back in it's original location? I put everything back together earlier (post a thorough cleanse) and still no luck. andaya replied earlier saying that he's got one (great news). I'm planning to buy his (if for nothing else a backup). Any thoughts on the ribbon?

What I did was once I exposed the dots at the end of the ribbon (the connectors which travel up to the display), I aligned the end of the ribbon to the beginning of the connectors on the board (where the black stuff is on the first pic above). Then I tried to get as much contact as possible. You'll notice that there's a natural curve to the ribbon, try to make a new curve a little farther up the ribbon - I used tape to do this. So when you're aligning it, try to get as much of the ribbon to touch the board.
