I suggest reading the codes with BMW software and telling us what it says, generic OBD codes are going to solve your problems about as well as the guy behind the counter at Autozone would.

Is your air pump working in the morning?? Check fuses if not.
1 Check the vacuum hose on the air pump valve. Its common for this hose to crack on the bottom right at the valve inlet. 2 If its not cracked, when your vehicle is cold check to see if the hose has vacuum. When the vehicle is hot, there will be no vacuum. 3 If all is good so far, check to see if the valve is opening with vacuum. 4 Is your air pump producing air at the outlet? Good luck. |
