Simple but effective test!Momentarily, drive behind a smoky vehicle .........................
The led should also come on when its working. |

The LED is lit when auto recirculate is selected, if the LED isnt on, then it wont auto circ.. You`ll know its working when youre behind a bus or wagon blowing out a load of smoke but you cant smell it.

Smell
Thats why I wont to know, I do smell smelly vehicles sometimes and the LED is permanently on - it only tells you auto is selected - NOT if its in recirculate mode.
I know on some earlier versions you could push two buttons together and go into a service mode and see all sorts of stuff like in side out side temps, revs, vehicle speed, battery volts etc... Is there a service or test mode in the current system ?? thanks, Seedar. |
