No sound from radio after dead battery?

My car recently died due to extremely low battery... i mean so low the car would not unlock or anything... dead completely. After getting it charged up the radio and navigation would turn on but no sound played from the radio on any channel even on am band. is there a code i have to enter in or some trick to this darn thing!?

Hello from Kirkland - Xoutpost.com - Search Forums as there are probably about 3 threads w/ this same topic floating around instead of making a new thread and waiting for a reply.

Using "no sound" as the keyword got me here - Xoutpost.com - Search Results, particularly http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...ighlight=sound, http://www.xoutpost.com/electronics/...ighlight=sound, http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...ighlight=sound, http://www.xoutpost.com/electronics/...ighlight=sound. If those don't help, keep looking for more links from the search keywords I did for you.
