If you install the bluetooth module on a car that already has the bmw phone built in, does the bluetooth overide the bmw phone (so the bmw phone doesnt work anymore)

I guess it will be a easy fitting because the mic is already there and you just need to plug in the module? If so, how do you remove the bmw phone from the armrest?
