DICE Question

Hi,

Got my new DICE kit today. The instructions say I have to disconnect the battery before fitting it. And I'm a bit nervous about doing that .... what if I reconnect the battery afterwards and suddenly something else in the car stops working ?

Anyone know why exactly the battery must be disconnected and is it really necessary ?

I've installed a Dice many times and personally, I never disconnected the battery. Everything works fine (for me anyway). So not necessary.

And the battery is underneath the spare tire.
