whining noise

hi all, ive got a 2005 55plate 3.0d auto, when im pulling off and i think only in 2nd gear it whines, sounds like transmission but not sure, just wondered if anyone experienced it and knows a fix to it, it only does it in 2nd inbetween 15 and 20 mph.??????????

First welcome to the Xoutpost.

You are going to want to search first. Try searching transmission noise, whining noise, torque converter.

I am pretty sure you are using the ZF tranny which is the same as the V8. Lots of recent issues here on the forum, including myself. Hope its not the tranny but good luck.
