yellow goo

I noticed the yellow goo underneath the oil cap over the weekend, I fall into the "short trips category" live in NE cold winter etc. I cleaned it all out best i could took it for a long drive Sunday. When i returned home pulled the cap again and everything looked as I expect it should. Called the dealer yesterday explained the situation and my concern regarding everything that has been stated on this site which has been extremely helpful. The service adviser told me not to worry and that if I did not exhibit any other issues, like exhaust issues white smoke, rough start etc i should be ok.. What should i do at get the oli changed at the very least right? Thanks for your help in advance..
