Anyone use the Bavauto Camber Kit for the Rear
I have an 06, 4.4 with 22s and lowered on H&R springs and links. I am burning up those rear tires 315/30/22 because of all that negative camber. I have read the post about the KMAC camber kit, but has anyone used the Bavauto camber kit, if so hows it working out. Thanks for all your input

jst, will this kit allow the tires to be set at 0 camber? How many miles are you able to get out of a set of rear tires with kit versus what you got previous to the kit?

just think, a normal car like my civic have tires that last 40,000. i would think the same with 0 camberfor the x. my x however is slanted in slightly but i only drive my x5 about 6,000mi a year so im not sure how long these tires will last

JST sweet ride btw. Price on it $269 seems like it will pay for itself in one set of tires by making them last twice as long. That's a no brainer! I appreciate the info!

just remember that the mechanic will charge u a few hours for this. see if bavauto has a reference point for the bushing placement. your mechanic will have lots of fun taking the old bushings out. i used a small propane torch to burn the rubber off. then a sawzall is needed to cut the hollow aluminum bushing casing and then just just hammer it out with a heavy duty screwdriver.

I just got my camber kit and have questions. The front nut seems to have a tab attached to it because of the difficult position it is in. I wouldn't think this would be a problem but the kit has "D" bolts which do no allow it to turn and only allows you to tighten it by the nut. Not sure if this is only on the 04-06 X5s or not. So if someone could give some advise I would apprecite it.

I have the Bav Auto kit and it seems to be working well (on for just a few hundred miles now). Honestly, I'm not sure how whomever did your alignment after you lowered was able to get the alignment anywhere near where they would let you leave the shop...

I used my dremel and cut the small slit a little bigger so u can tighten the new lock nut for the toe bushings. That was the only way I was able to tighten those nuts. Dremel has these metal discs that worked like a charm at cutting those pieces on each side
