Which oxygen sensor do I need to change?

2001 X5 3.0, error code tells me post cat, cylinders 1-3.

I got under the X5 and saw two 02 sensors side by side. Is the one for cyl 1-3 the one on the outside, or the one toward the center of the vehicle?

Also, which cylinders are 1-3 and which are 4-6? Thanks.

Wouldn't a post cat error mean the cat is not working properly?

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Need more info on the faults. It could be a o2 sensor aging fault, could be a post cat mixture fault, or could be a catalyst efficiency fault. Need a proper fault description to know where to start looking.

Cyl 1-3 are towards the front of the vehicle/engine on the I6.
