Steering W & Driver's Seat Adjustment INOP!

My steering wheel adjustments and driver's seat adjustments just stopped working!!

When I move the MFL steering adjustment joystick the wheel only bumps a small fraction of an inch in the desired direction. I can continue to repeat the joystick command and it will eventually move to where I want it, mm by mm. Checked associated fuses F23 & 26.

All the driver seat buttons now return only a clicking sound when selected with NO movement at all. Checked associated fuses F26 & 32.

Since F26 is common to both, really thought that might be the problem. Even though it looked fine, I replaced it with a 30A spare. Problem remains!

BAS fault code reader/reset tool shows a table 19, 2d, MFL bit toggle fault . . . but I haven't found any reference to this in the Bentley manual or in this forum.

Reseated the associated middle harness and the consumer cutoff K72 relay on the GM behind the glove box. Problem remains!

Tried clearing the fault with the reset tool. Problem remains!

Ideas?
