Have I found my car?

Hi All

I've just had a dealer bring a 2005 X5 Diesel for me to have a look at, black on black, sports, almost every option (no self levelling suspension, but just about everything else).

It's a bit high on the k's at 140,000 (I actually ticked it from 139999 to 14000 on the test drive), but I can get a 3 year extended warranty for $1100 (which covers me for up to $3k), or a 5 year (that gets me $8k of cover), on top of the statutory 3 month dealer warranty.

It appeared to drive well, but did make a bit of a dull roar at low rev accelleration. I'd be getting an RACV test done, so they should pick up anything that's not right.

There's also a couple of little scratches around the place, but no dents, so they can probably be touched up easily enough.

At $50k, I'm not sure if I should put up with the odd blemish here and there for the sake of every option available (almost), or hold out for something better to come along, which may not happen.

What to do, what to do...??
