Little help!!??

I have read slot of post about this problem but I was hoping someone could calm my nerves until I get the fault codes read

ok so I recently replaced my passenger front wheel bearing and wheel hub. Ivthrn took the x ti get the alighnment checked the tech told me I needed to replace my two rear upper control arms so i ordered the parts and replaced them myself. I then returned the car to get realigned and on the way there my 4x4 light went yellow along with a yellow brake light. The car also runs sluggish and the read out says "transmission in failsafe mode" can someone tell me what the crap is going on. I am getting the fault codes read tomorrow but it's killing me not knowing anything now

Could be a wheel speed sensor, particularly since you were just working in that area.

What year and mileage? Did u try resetting the battery? Could be your alternator going south. Check your batt voltage and your alternator. Good luck

A fair number of us have gotten that error. There are a several possible causes. Let the tech troubleshoot, but here are a couple of item to mention (these were my issues)

• 05/26/03 - 14,000: Replaced faulty Air mass sensor, to eliminate the dreaded, “TRANS FAILSAFE PROG”.
• 09/01/05 – 24,334: Replaced air flow sensor (13-62-1-438-871) and idle speed control (13-41-1-744-713) to
address the sudden stall issue. Also “Trans Failsafe Prog”.
