E70 rant

ok just a bit of a rant about my loaner while the E53 is in the shop. Why do we need so many gimicks.

Idrive why? hate it. took 20 minutes to figure out the radio only to see that there is no way to turn the radio on in the menu, thats a seperate button

the shifter why? hate it. why do i push forward to go backwards and backwards to go forwards and a push button to go into park.

fob push start why? hate it. why the two step process? insert key turn pretty simple

turn signals don't hate but don't like. i find the self centering stalk annoying.

auto open close hatch. yeah ok but seems like it is just something else to break.

Overall feel to the interior is cheap. I do not know if it is just the package on the loaner but the steering wheel feels funky and overall i don't like the interior.

thats pretty much it rant over.

cant wait to pick my E53 backup sorry to any E70 guys I'm just not feeling it.

I kind of agree with this one, the E70 demo I drove was already peeling color off the headlight switch.
