SnapOn coolant purge kit......Any other brands?

In need of some expertise here. Does anyone know of a company that makes a vacuum/refiller coolant purge system. I would like to use on when I do the valley pan gasket. I heard these purgers will vacuum test for leaks and then fill the whole cooling system up without any air in the system. Ive seen it used once by a mechanic he had a Snap On purge system, but Im not sure if that will work on the bmw's. Any advice is greatly appreciated.....

You wanted to know if there were any other options to the Snap-On one. I gave you another option.

True, but I need to buy something. If bmw's system is attainable that would always be my first choice, but if not available then I have to make something else work.

You don't really need that to do the job, in fact most techs at most dealers and/or indy shops don't have such a setup.

Simply drain the radiator and block, then refill slowly with the bleeder screw removed... let it sit for a couple minutes then top off again. reinstall the bleeder screw and crank it up. Inside the neck you should see a stream of coolant pissing across. If it is pissing good and still full put the cap back on. Turn the heater on as hot as it will go at a low fan speed and ensure heater operation. After a quick 2 or 3 mile test drive let it cool for a while and double check/top off the coolant with the bleed screw out again. That should have it topped off and fully bleed, and don't cost like the vacuum system that still isn't foolproof. (BMW does design a system easy enough to bleed, especially compared to others)
