Self-leveling Suspension Inactive - No Comms

I read through all of the self-leveling inactive threads and mine is a slightly different issue. Initially, the message would come up when I started the car and go away after a few minutes of driving, then come on when I turned the car off. Now it's on constantly, so I had it checked and it's a "No Comms" issue. I'm guessing the module is dead, but want to make sure.

So far I've checked the power going to the module (pin 22 = 14.8V) and the K-BUS signal (pin 15 - looks like data is going across, but don't have a scope to verify). My next step is to check the continuity from the module to the IKE.

My questions are, does anyone know where the wire is routed to get to the cluster? Second, has anyone had an issue like this after messing with their cluster or messing with the headliner/a-pillars? Those are the only 2 things I've touched that could possibly cause an issue. I tried fixing the ribbon cable in the cluster and it's too far mangled, so I need a new one (or a new cluster if BMWNA will take care of parts). I was caulking my sunroof, so I've been messing around under the headliner as well.

How do you know that you have data across the K bus?

I'm not positive I do, but I see fluctuation in the voltage. I would need a scope to be able to tell for sure.
