Worried about losing the ride quality

Well guys I have a 2004 X4 4.4L and I just recently bought Breyton Spirits 21"

Now the only tire I can find up here in Canada is the Dunlop RFT. I was just wondering what the ride quality would because a few shops have said the ride quality is so rough and I will lose that ride comfort in my X. I also have on order H&R springs 1.5 lowering all around. Any with a similar set up that can shed some light on this issue. The roads are pretty bad up here due to the winters and I am afraid with the run flats being super stiff they could warp a rim.

The tire size I looking at is 325/30/21 in the rears and 285/35/21 in the front

Thanks in advance

Good luck.21's are the oddest size to get tires. they r going to be harsh on your suspension components too.

Please define what you mean hard on my suspension compnents there member on her that are running 22"s with no issues ??

I recently changed my ball joints, control arm bushings and installing the h&r springs.

I realize its a odd size rim but it was dirty cheap but it looks like I have to spend to get the tires now.

Concerned about ride quality

The side of tires you're going to run on ,it not much of the different compair to the stock 275/315.
You will hear more road noise with those RFT tires and your brakes will wear out quicker too..

Run flats are garbage I drove a E92 with run flats and you can feel every little bump on the road, I felt like my spine was connected to the suspension. Go with smaller rims and some good quality tires.

21's,22's are harsh on your bushings, balljoints, struts, strut mounts. when you get the h&R springs look to replace top strut mounts, bearings, and struts. i hear good things about bilstein HD

COntrol arm bushings I just changed as well as the ball joints cause I knew they would fail when I lower the truck. Strut mounts I will most likely change when I install the springs and when the structs go Ill beef them up.

All like my old E36 blown M. Same upgrades only it was due to power failing the parts lol
