2003 X5 3.0 vibrating when over 60 mph

It is possible that there was a problem with the repair, but the first step is to get the wheels balanced. An out of balance wheel will cause a speed-dependent vibration. You don't need an alignment due to this, just a balance. If that doesn't resolve the problem, go back to the shop that did the CV boot and ask them to look at it.

wheel balance or control arms. the dreaded 60mph shimmy is usually a control arm bushing.

It was the wheel balance problem! I went to NTB yesterday, my rear tires were weared unevenly (original, 68K), I have replaced rear tires and did front whells balance as well. It is fine now. Thanks JCL and kishg.
