Would these rims fit my 2005 X5 4.4?

somebody else told me they wouldnt because the x5 wheels have offsets in the 40 range...is that true and is there a way around that?

spacers will do the job. can you test them on your x?

I think I could test them since they are being sold local and are slightly used. dont know much about spacer requirements\sizes ...what would I need to do for them to work?

if the hub size is the same then put the wheels on and seee if it touches the caliper....if it doesnt than your good to go. twinspoppa put the m5 wheels on his x with spacers, shoot him a pm to see how it all works out. post some pics when you put two wheels on one side of the X

The rear wheels will need 10mm spacers to fit flush with the fender, but the fronts will stick out a little bit, I have tried oem m5 e60 wheels on my x5 and the rears were fine but the fronts stuck out way too much. I sold the wheels and invested in oem style 87. If you do get these wheels, you will most definetly need to get the fender flares for the front and rear, and use 20mm spacers for the rears. Its alot of work, my advice is to you is to just pass.

Twinspoppa is using replica 20 inch e60 m5 wheels with the same offset and width all around.

if the fronts stick out you can always get the extended flares for the front. but then youll have to get them for the front. it will give you another 20mm to work with.
